Laser interlock issue with Laser Princess Fiona #2121

Description

@huffeec mentioned that someone had been able to press the Pulse button on the laser Princess Fiona with the lid up and the laser had fired. This is a major safety issue, it should not be capable of doing this.

I was working on some other issues when Sean @Spanner74 popped in to make some mugs, so we looked at this issue in detail.

I had already determined that the sensor was working and was also indicated correctly by the controller. We suspected that there was a confiruation issue with the firmware. After trying to get a network connection working, we finally managed to get the RDWorks software installed on Fiona's PC and changed the required configuration flag. This partially worked, but it is still an issue when using the pulse button. This interlock should not be controlled by software either, so this is a flaw in the machines design.

We now believe that this can be resolved by rewiring the door sensor to connect to the laser power supply rather than the laser controller. This is not a small piece of work, so Fiona will have to be out of commission till this is resolved.

I have switched off the laser power as well as added a lock on the wall mounted switch to disable Fiona till this can be resolved, which is targetted for some time in the next week or so. Till this time, Fiona cannot be used. I have taken the keys home with me to enforce this.
