inefficient Version Code switch

Im on an armabi device running mulch webview on divested os.
I have enormous storage space constraints.
F-Droid constantly downloads the double sized aio apk - for all archs - which i dont need or want. It steals my space or i can't auto update. If the Version Code/Build Number would be switched, giving the aio apk the smallest one, the armabi-v7a the next, and the arm64-v8a the last/most current would help to only install what is really needed.

Or am i wrong completely - and on arm64 - the non 64 apps still require some kind of hook and the aio version is needed? Outside maybe the latest pixel?

32-bit needs 32-bit webview
64-bit needs 32+64-bit webview because 64-bit can run 32-bit apps

F-Droid will suggest the 32+64 APK for 32-bit only devices however

I previously worked around this by actually having a hundred copies of the webview each signed to a different divestos device, but that was extremely inefficient and prevent used on other systems.

Switching the version code would likely cause it to install the 32-bit only on 64-bit systems where 32+64 is needed.

I haven't found a good way to solve this.

Could potentially split them out into their own repo maybe, but it would be difficult to get users to migrate.
