Question About Ad-Free Paid Version

I just wanted to ask if there's a plan to offer a paid, ad-free version of the app sometime soon. The ads can be a bit disruptive, especially when you just want to quickly switch between episodes or check something briefly.

It would be great to have the option to use the app without interruptions, even if it's a small subscription fee. Is something like that planned for the near future? Or is there any rough timeline when we could expect this?

Yes it is planned but I can't give you an ETA.
This is hardly limited to Google since I have to verify myself for this.

I won't happen in the next 30 days, that's for sure!

Additionally it's planned to embed the ad in the video, like YouTube does for example.
But same problem here, I need to verify for this.

Verification of individuals (like me) will only be requested by Google at a certain amount of downloads or income.
So yeah as I said, it won't happen in the next 30 days but might start developing (not delivering) this feature after that time frame.

Ich habe mehrmals für die vorherige BS App gespendet. Nun muss ich diesen Temu Werbe Dreck ertragen. Das ist echt ein Schlag ins Gesicht, für Leute die freiwillig gespendet haben!!

Am liebsten würde ich die Werbung auch weglassen, aber ich finanziere damit mein Studium, hätte ich vorher mehr Spenden erhalten, hätte ich das nicht eingebaut / einbauen müssen.

Es wird keine extra bezahl App und auch erstmal kein Abomodell über Google Play geben.
Grund dafür ist einfach der zu hohe Aufwand und zu wenig Zeit meinerseits.

Especially not in German, even though most users are from Germany, there’s a reason why communication here is in English.

Of course, I appreciate your (and others) support!
I’d prefer to leave out the ads too, but they help me finance my studies. If I had received more donations beforehand, I wouldn’t have had to include them.

Paid Version

There won’t be a separate paid app, and for now, no subscription model via Google Play either.
The reason is simply the high effort involved and my limited time.
