Hi,
We are working on extending a ROMS+SWAN modelling system that currently includes a parent grid (A) and a child grid (B1), by adding a second child domain (B2) at the same refinement level as B1. Both subsystems—A+B1 and A+B2—run correctly on their own with two-way nesting. However, when we combine them into a single configuration, the system crashes as soon as the models begin exchanging information, apparently due to issues within SWAN.
Since our experience with nested simulations has so far been limited to telescopic grid configurations, we would like to know whether SWAN can support two-way nesting when two child grids exist at the same level. We are using COAWST v. 3.7.
Thanks
