Patch.correlate and patch.dispersion_phase_shift should accept nd patches

## Description
Currently these two functions don't work on patches with more than 2 dimensions. In a separate project I am working on I have expanded these to work on patches with any number of dimensions, only the time and distance dimension have to be specified by name. Without breaking backwards compatibility, we should expand DASCore's implementations as well.
