so basicly im wondering whether you would be up for it to update your configs and whether it would be possible to add in galacticraft but still retaining the difficulty + adding in even more end game content with the galacticraft mod. further then that i got troubles actually starting a sever with your files, i downloaded and used mcpc-plus-1.6.4-R2.1-forge965-B251.jar and i still cant get the server to start.

That's interesting that single player would work, but not multiplayer. Very strange. If you want to dig yourself it appears that it could be a block id conflict, but that doesn't make much sense if single player is working.

I don't have time to try and incorporate another mod, myself. You are welcome to use these configs as a starting point and give it a shot.

Allright, thanks so far, gonna be a little bit of trial and error until this thing will work i guess. Do i need to use the MCPC+ server or will it work without the plugins the same way as you intented? (balance wise? )
Is there a way maybe to make oyur time worth it if u find any spare to work on this project? I would be very willing to help you out with a donation maybe? I would really love to see a good balance with galacticraft added, but i am not that great in adding in that myself.

The MCPC+ server is necessary to block some of the items that were ridiculously op (some food growth and powergen). I didn't really change that much though, and there is a lot more tweaking that really should be done. I haven't been playing minecraft lately because I haven't had the time, but I just read about the craziness lately with Bukkit and MCPC+. So yeah, I understand your trepidation about trying to get MCPC+ working. I think it should work without it, but I haven't run it without it in a long time.

I appreciate the offer to help monetarily, that is very mature and generous of you. I see too many people in the modding community (not that would call myself a real modder), demand free effort from devs without realizing how much time it takes.

That being said, I will still have to decline. Life has been really crazy for me lately and I don't have time to devote to something like this (which is why I haven't been playing Minecraft lately either lol). I will have more time starting next summer (or maybe even after the new year).

If you want to get started on it, it should be really easy, just take the current set up and drop in galacticraft and see what happens. Most likely all you would have to do is fix block id's and then tweak mod settings in the config files. I'd be happy to help with small questions here or there.

I seemed to find a solution for my problem above, but got another one in the process. I fully can understand that you got very little time at the moment and i'm fully willing to wait till you got more time, since you did great work here.( I hope my english does not sound inpolite, I'm not a native speaker). As well im thinking of how to balacne tinkers construct. I found a fix btw for the "Greggy Greg do please kindly stuff a sock in it" NEI tooltip bug.
But If u would manage to help me out a little, if u find somehow time in the near future, i would be happy paying you 20$ per hour of your work and help.

I plan to reboot my Monster Minecraft server over Thanksgiving, so I might be able to help some. I don't want to get your hopes up because the main plan is to spend time with family, but I might have some time to set things up.

Yes for sure, since I cant take any credit for it ( except the time i needed to dig in the internet to find that). Its a fix in the factorization mod. I'm not sure whether i'm allowedto post links here? If I am, i will surely post it here. Could we arrange maybe a more direct chat? Nothing against Github but the communication here is rather slow. So basicly what i had in mind is to actually balancing all that stuff, anbd make sure when adding galacticraft that i dont miss anything so things wont be there duplicated( for example ores, I think galacticraft has some type of aluminium ore.). And as well im not to sure how i should balance the Tinkers construct, because the pickaxes and stuff there renders gregtechs improved difficulty on getting tools useless, doesn't it?.Other than that i got a couple of recipies which i know do not work in the current mod pack and im not 100% sure how to fix them my own. I was trying the mod costum recipies to repair those, but I got no clue how to fix the entries in NEI so other people who are playing with me would know the correct recipie. One example would be the MV transformer from Industrialcraft, which is I guess fixed since gregtech replaced that one anyways i guess.

But ye as you can see from the wall of text above, there are plently of little things which need to be fixed, and i gotz some basic understanding of the mods but not enough to fix everythign of that and balance them correctly so there is a real endgame and challengeing expireience in this modpack.

Nvm, i actually just found the solution and now got the the server even with mcpc+ running.
I had to change java options on my webinterface, the perm memory was the problem. So If I'm allowed to post a link here, i will surely share the fix for the "greggy" NEI problem.
