Why was Bamboo development discontinued?

Hello,

I've read some articles about Bamboo and also read some Bamboo contracts back in 2018-19 and always thought it is a promising new EVM language.

I was wondering if the project was (practically) discontinued do to lack of utility, design flaws, or simply because the maintainers had other priorities? Is there any more future work planned?
