Tools for the registry

Hope all is well.
I have been working on a weather_us workflow and had a few questions:

• How do I know if something I made is worth adding the registry? Can I send it to you for feedback? I figure pushing everything there would not be ideal, since it could litter the choices with duplicates/unfinished/useless things.
• The workflow I made uses an API key from a service called visual crossings that has a free tier. Is it ok to use those? should we prioritze 100% free APIs? My original workflow used openweathermap, but it only does forecasts for 5 days (free tier) and I wanted to try another option. I have both versions, so not sure which is the best option. Main difference is openweathermap lets you create credentials in n8n and the other one uses an API key that needs to be put somewhere in the workflow.

Hey @nerd8east-a11y ! Someone beat you to it and submitted weather_us to the registry yesterday. The one submitted uses free API, no key needed. This would be preferred over API keys. Have a look at see how it compares to the one you were creating.

No worries. I ended up with three different versions: openweathermap, the same NOAA one and the one from visual crossing. It was a good learning opportunity for me.

Side note: I noticed I was getting emails from CAAL (without using the gmail tool) and realized that I was testing a grocery list tool and everytime I told CAAL to send me the data, it would email me lol.

Hah! What model were you using when that happened? Wondering if it was using its tool chaining training. What exactly did you ask it to do?

I am using the CoreWorxLab model. I asked CAAL "send me the list" and he replied "I have sent you the list". At first I thought it was failing, but when I checked my email later I saw that CAAL was sending it there. I am updating all the objects to make sure I am on the latest versions.
