MCP servers and tools not seen by LLM

Hey, great project.
I managed to get it working with Gemini 2.0 Flash, but when I ask it to use tools or what tools it sees, this is the response -
"I can see the following tools: the default_api which contains the sample_agent function. I can also use basic spreadsheet formulas."

I have connected multiple MCP servers to it which I have tested with other clients and they work.
What could be the problem? I am not seeing any errors in the terminal
