Phase 1: Scoping
Phase 1 shall consist of a detailed scoping and requirement definition exercise for the work to be undertaken in
Phase 2. During this phase, the Service Provider shall:
• Review all proposed components, outputs, and functionalities envisaged for Phase 2;
• Engage with CI and relevant stakeholders to clarify objectives, assumptions, constraints, and
dependencies;
• Define and document functional and technical requirements, including user stories, workflows, data
inputs, and expected outputs;
• Identify any risks, trade-offs, implementation considerations, or prerequisites relevant to the Phase 2
activities; and
• Produce scoping and requirement documentation to inform and guide the implementation of Phase 2.

Acceptance Criteria
All components and outputs envisaged for Phase 2 have been reviewed and are explicitly addressed in the scoping documentation. This should be signed off by Conservation International before Phase 2 commences.
