TICKET SUMMARY

ISSUE: When a variation is configured as required (not optional), it causes the product to display incorrectly on the product page, and in the shopping cart.

SERVER: Naboo

MVC release: 201501.a

EXAMPLE PRODUCT: COTAWCFGNNNN00498

EXAMPLE GLOBAL VARIABLE:
Name/Prompt: Custom Instructions
Code: A1

EXAMPLE SITE (App): itascamoccasin.com

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
On itascamoccasin.com, view example prodcut page, and add product to cart. Everything works pretty normally, whether or not you make a Custom Instruction selection or not.

CHANGE VARIABLE CONFIGURATION TO NON-OPTIONAL:
Setup >> Global Variations >> A1 Custom Instruction >> uncheck the Optional box, Save change.

On itascamoccasin.com, repeat the steps to reproduce.
The product now displays strangely on the Product Page (the image is askew), and in the cart (the image displays very large, overtaking the cart display.

NOTES:
Even once the Global Variable has been set to required (by unchecking the Optional box), the product can be added to the cart without selecting Yes or No for the viriation.
