Hi @begunfx, thanks for the report — we were able to reproduce and identify the root cause.

What was happening: Dashboard grid layout positions (widget x/y/w/h from drag and resize) were being saved to localStorage correctly, but silently dropped on page load during preference migration. A secondary issue also caused widget positions to reset to defaults whenever the widget order changed (e.g. drag-reorder in edit mode).

The fix (two parts):

1. Added gridLayout to the preferences schema so it's preserved across page loads
2. Changed the widget reorder logic to retain custom positions instead of resetting to defaults

These changes are on the development branch and will be included in the next RC build. We'll follow up here when it's available for you to test.
