Thanks for reaching out about this. Presuming the code you are using was working with the official labels I would recommend taking a closer look at the roll itself.

Each roll on a side contains a series of holes that create a code for the printer to recognize. If the roll itself (the plastic part) does not have the same pattern as the original the printer will not recognize it.

Hello @CodeMinion, thank you for the explanation. It’s working fine with official Brother rolls, so I think the issue is with the other roll.

@CodeMinion, however, other apps are able to print using third-party rolls on the Brother printer, so it seems like it should be possible.

Roll height: 30.48mm
