For anyone, or any company that relies on adobe and microsoft office need to realize that they are just wasting their money, especially adobe doubling their prices over time to the point it aint worth it anymore and right now, there is plenty good free alternative out there such as davinci resolve and libre office which is enough for most of the use cases.

Actually, the only thing I see on this video is that you either never had any interest in competitive gaming OR you slowly gave-up and opted for games with less friction.

This video IS NOT a "come to Linux", it's more of a cope than anything. It's a "nobody is ever going to fix gaming on windows, so let's just play whatever works and call it a day".

Another disingenuous thing was the whole "Linux File Structure" as IF there was true convention on where things are installed. Granted, it's not as bad as windows, but there is 100000% no consensus on Linux. Heck! there is a reason 'fzf' exists and it's not just to look for your own files.

"Adobe" and "Microsoft" are not the only companies out there. 3D modeling SUCKS in Linux to the 10th power. It's by far one of the worst aspects of Linux. That alienates every professional that needs serious CAD program, as well as a lot of 3D printing enthusiast.

GPU passthrough is gatekept and even if you manage to get it to work you will likely find yourself in front of a wall with the audio and a couple more noob traps along the way. It's a hell scape by design.

Not to mention the ON GOING political takeover, which undermines trust to the very core. If they are whiling to libel and defame people for political gains. What stops them from including back doors? Answer is... nothing... and nobody is whiling to fight them because it likely means getting black listed and having your entire career sabotaged.

Stay off Linux. Get Windows 10 LTSC from massgrave dot dev and weather the storm until one of the two unhinged pollical groups dunks on the other and only mass compliance is left.

Is there a guide somewhere to get exactly your setup running? I've lost track of which Window Manager you're using these days, and saying 'I use Arch but with CachyOS kernel' is kinda vague. How does one go about doing that?
