Re-implement in a free progamming language

Thanks for making this code available, but matlab isn't free, so not everyone can run your code. Would you consider re-implementing it in a freely available programming language?

In their repository, PDGPS, there's a python implementation of GPSnet although I'm not sure if the two are the same. I'm also wondering how the workflow can be redone using the SARS-CoV-2 data
