Hello. Fortunately, I have already solved this by commenting the former Pythia I downloaded before (commenting out from the bashrc). I suspect that the then-Pythia version overlaps the new one causing the error I raised above. Thanksssss :) |

Good day :)
I am a newbie.
When I try to execute command code:
./CheckMATE -n example -mgcommand="import model MSSM_SLHA2; generate p p > go go;" -maxev 500 -slha=example_run_cards/auxiliary/testspectrum.slha -wp8
I keep getting:
**|-> PythiaHandler 'process': Initializing Pythia8 with /home/jeremiah/cm/checkmate/results/example/pythia/process_showercard.in
ERROR IN FRITZ - MODULE: PythiaHandler 'process'
MESSAGE: could not read /home/jeremiah/cm/checkmate/results/example/pythia/process_showercard.in
-----> IMMEDIATE ABORT!
!!! ERROR !!!
Fritz returned with error. Check logfiles in result folder for more information!
Exiting.**
It's the same PythiaHandler Process error when using other test such as:
./CheckMATE 13tev_test.in
For details here are the versions of my programs:
mg5amcatnlo - version 3.5.0
pythia - version 8245
hepmc - 2.06.11
delphes - 3.5.0
precompiled root - 6.22.08.Linux-...
Thanks :)))
