(hack_template).xml could be expanded #1
Description
(hack_template).xml is an extremely weak template and it seems Noxid added it a placeholder.
This should be expanded to include the multiple features of BL/BPP's XML format, including things like:
- Text, Data, Label and other fields other than just Info
- Revise Author tag. Clearly mention that it doesn't actually display anywhere in BL but it's the standard for crediting XMLs.
- Data Size. Noting that ASCII data should include the terminating bytes to have it display as ASCII instead of a number. (Does it automatically display as a number if the size is 4? Will have to test.)
- Comments
- Checkboxes (need to test functionality, such as can you leave one of the fields empty to have it do nothing?)
- Mention that patching is run from top to bottom of file.
- Panels and Columns
- How to have a default value in a field (I had no idea this existed until I saw it in one of Txin's hacks)
