Potential Memory Leak on Windows (Client 2.3.1) #329

@tvMagic

Description

@tvMagic

There appears to be a potential memory leak with the latest stable version of client 2.3.1.

We have been running client 2.3.1 on a new Caspar install over the past weekend, and over the course of the weekend our desktop monitoring tools have shown Caspar Client has built up 99% memory usage. Before causing our machine to crash.

In a second instance, we've been running client 2.3.1 for over a week, and we've had three instances of the client building up to 99% memory before crashing.

We have many other installs of client 2.3 and do not appear to have the same issue. With many of these clients running many months without any apparent issues.

All machines are running either Windows Server 2022 or 2025.

For now, we are going to roll back our 2.3.1 client to 2.3.0.

Please let me know if there is any further specific information I can provide to assist.
