I am also looking a Library which can handle an ethernet conenction instead of wifi. is that possible?

Hi,
unfortunately no, it is not possible at this moment to use ethernet connection with this library.

i saw somewhere that the shield doesn't support HTTPS so it's impossible to connect to Telegram servers :(
