Error message indicator

Hi,

When I am preparing input card, sometimes I make mistakes in input card. However, seems the code does not tell me why is the mistake. Is it possible to have a function that telling up to which line does scone has read? It is then easier to find out where is the misatake.

Hi Tian,

Just replying to say I fully agree. This has bugged me too when making big inputs. Hopefully there should be a way to make input dictionaries more informative when there is an error. I will try and take a look at this soon!

Just a small question to hone in on the bigger problem. In your experience the bigger problem is that the input file fails to parse correctly or that errors in the type of entries in the input dictionaries throw errors without the location? The example of the paring error would be missing semi-colon, the other e.g. type in the entry keyword.
