Confused about the axis mapping

There are three drop-downs in the view, on the top left, bottom right and bottom left. I assume that the bottom right defines the x axis, but it defines the bubble size.

I'd suggest to sacrifice a couple of pixels on the right and move the drop-down for the bubble size into a separate panel on the right.
