CWE Search Filtering (e.g., only return mappable CWE pages)? #6
Description
The CWE Search feature on the website allows users to search the CWE website by typing in a specific term or multiple keywords separated by a space. The search is enhanced by Google and only returns results from the CWE website. The results include both CWE weakness pages as well as other CWE non-weakness pages (e.g., guidance and documentation).
For users who are performing root cause mapping, it would be good to limit the search results to only CWE weakness pages AND only those CWE weaknesses where mapping is Allowed or Allowed-with-Review. Not sure if it's possible to filter this search, but might be worth finding out. There may be other filters that are useful for other users in other situations.
