Timetable App 🤦‍♂️

To keep track of our SOPHISTICATED TIMETABLE AND EVENTS

• Collaborative timetable schedule
• Authorization for staff and CRs
• Event management (classes, events, exams, etc..)
• Event Notification (app notification, email)
• Public announcements
• Google Calendar delegation
• Birthday alerts, etc.,

Architecture 🤦‍♂️

• Microservice? Providers? API Gateways? Serverless?
• Native to Mutliplatofrm?
• Auth - Library? Provider? It can be Clerk, Firebase Auth, Supabase Auth, Next-Auth-js, OAuth, etc.,
• Database - NoSQL? SQL?
• SMTP - Provider? Library? It can be Mailgun, Resend, etc.,

Motivation 🫠

It can bring all of us together to build a super cool, intuitive timetable application for the department over the holidays; more like a hobby project to explore, learn, and build something for the department (was told to say this).

Hi @rev-sin and @Thanus-Kumaar . Yes, Chronos is built at 75%.

Architecture

1. Serverless Edge Functions (Supabase)
2. Auth (hand-rolled)
3. Platform : Android only for now, due to lack of iOS devs (React Native)
4. Database : PostgreSQL (Supabase)
5. SMTP : None (not a requirement)

Event notifications in the mobile requires Apple Push Notifications or FCM which is something that we are yet to look into. Happy to receive implementations of the same with consideration of the rate-limits
