What did you work on this past iteration (2 weeks)?
I worked on implementing passport - local authentication issue

What were any major issues/challenges you ran into?
I realized halfway through the implementation process that password was being stored naked in the db. I needed to make sure to encrypt it so I had to include bcrypt as a library to secure the password. I also had to change the authentication logic to ensure that a duplicate registered email could not be registered.

What do you plan to work on for this coming iteration (2 weeks)?
