How to send the events from Server to client without service discovery? Is it possible?

Is it possible to send the events from one node(IP) to another node(IP) without service discovery ?
As per my understanding, Since the subscription is needed from client to get the events from server , also from subscription packets only server will get client (IP and port details ).Even we do not have any IP configuration in the "clients" field in json file.

So to my understanding event communication is not possible without service discovery.

Please clarify is there any other way we can do it without service discovery.

Implementation Overview (without service discovery)
To send events without service discovery, the key is:
The client must manually subscribe to events (subscribe)
The server must know the client exists and allow events to be sent
Both parties must use the same configuration (service ID, instance ID, event ID, IP, port, etc.)
