Overview -
A list of available resources (rooms w/ description, items) to be available to departments to "reserve" as part of convention planning. Currently mimicking the "resume" process of CONvergence, but in a logical and non-random way. Requesting 'things' is exactly that - a request. The list of available drives what can be gotten (or purchased/rented) and in the end will generate a list of things to be gotten from the vendor hotel, the rental agencies, and to be obtained by a purchasing group.

Functions -

  • Department heads get pestered to enter requirements on login (including "none")
  • Division directors are asked for confirmation of requests
  • Resources team (resume) gets output lists and can move things around, or request details/changes/etc
  • Original requests are saved, changes are documented
  • Generated outputs are on screen, csv, and possibly pdf (low priority)
  • Outputs are "all", or "by vendor" which will separate vendor specific needs, rental agents, and to be purchased lists
  • Outputs are also by "whole con" or "department" or "division"

Access -

  • Department heads see what's been requested and can make changes (until the deadline(s))
  • Resource Team can see current requests
  • Division directors can see their department's requests
