MMT/Binospec RA and Dec not being correctly parsed

It seems like the Binospec pipeline is still incorrectly converting sexigesimal to degrees which is causing the astrometry to fail. I force updated to the dev branch and the problem still occurs. For now I am using the previous approach of manually updating the headers to degrees.

Thanks @jenivevepearson. I'm looking at this issue now and I see the fix is not working as well as I thought on all Binospec data sets. The recommended reduction procedure is still to fix the RA/Dec in the header then run POTPyRI. It might also help to email Ben about this as I'm not sure they're aware of this issue with the way RA/Dec is encoded.

Great, thanks a bunch Charlie! I need to write Ben an email about issues with the updated bash scripts not running on Mac computers, I'd be happy to tack this RA/Dec issue on to that email and cc you. Is it just that the RA and Dec units are not properly labeled in the header?

Yes, the issue is basically that RA is encoded in decimal hours, but there's no way to know that's the case from the headers.

@jenivevepearson - hopefully your email to Ben will result in them updating the RA/CATRA keywords, but I've also changed the logic in the WCS module to use the CRVAL1/CRVAL2 keywords as a guess of the RA/Dec when they're available (in: #57). If you need to reduce this dataset or any future dataset, you can test the changes by reinstalling with:

pip install --force-reinstall git+https://github.com/CIERA-Transients/POTPyRI.git
