CCI sock deadlock

It usually happen when the process is under gdb, early in the connection setup. I get the following error message:
cci: sock_progress_pending: timeout of conn_request msg
and the no further events are generated by CCI. Complete deadlock.

I was never able to reproduce the problem and the lack of details and trace make it very difficult for me to do something.
Furthermore, i do not think this is a deadlock: the connection cannot process therefore there is no progress.
