Navigation Challenge boring for viewers ?

The Navigation Challenge could be boring for viewers --> Cars first drive slowly through the whole track, before driving slowly through the track again, this time taking some different turns.

How do we make the Navigation Challenge more appealing to viewers, while also differentiating it from the other challenges and giving it sufficient challenge for the teams?
