What is needed?

Distribution specification for ignition counts, spread event days, and hours burning per day was originally designed to mimic the behaviour of a more mature SyncroSim package, ST-Sim. See here for info:

However, in practice, this has caused a lot of confusion for the majority of BP3+ users who are not familiar with ST-Sim and its conventions and don't use many of the alternative ways of specifying distributions. In light of this, it would probably be best to significantly pare back the complexity of this feature to just the one or two most common use cases (user-defined discrete distributions with weights, maybe single deterministic values) in an effort to make these datasheets more intuitive, especially to new users.
