Tree Vertical Tabs extended configuration

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
I'd really like to use more of the features of the Tree Style Tabs addon, yet I also really like the performance benefits an the native sidebar integration of Tree Vertical Tabs.

I'd love an "expert mode" for Tree Vertical Tabs with all the features from TST.

Describe alternatives you've considered
Use both TVT and TST: ugly, performance issues, seemingly also control issues - a ctrl+W accidentally closed a whole private window with 100+ tabs (yes, keeping important semi-permanent and/or "not search profile building" tabs in private windows is a bad habit. still sad about the data loss...)

+1. Especially colors settings. Because right now the active tab and the background have practically the same color and it is very hard to say which tab is active. Waterfox flatpak on KDE 6.5.
