[Feature Suggestion] Tab switcher toggle

The recent update replaced the compact tab view with a fullscreen tab switcher, which makes managing and switching between tabs slower and less efficient. The previous layout allowed a quicker overview and easier navigation, especially with many tabs open.

Please add an option to restore the old compact tab view, for example as a setting or experimental flag, so users can choose the layout that works best for them.
