Android Waterfox going back 2 websites when pressing back button once

Whenever I press the back button in my phone once, Waterfox goes 2 pages back instead of one page.

I'm pretty sure this is a firefox issue, according to this post:

But im posting an issue here to see if anything can be done from waterfox's side

Yes, it's very annoying. It happens to me when I use Google, but when I use Startpage, everything works fine. Also, a couple of weeks ago, I tried Firefox Beta and Firefox Nightly (which use engine versions 149 and 150), and the bug didn't reproduce on them (I just went in and tried it; maybe if I use the browser longer, the bug will appear).
