Id and class attribute values are not in sync with obfuscation

If our javascript does contain IDs and CLASSes, can we avoid this issue by simply disabling javascript obfuscation?

I have not downloaded/compiled this library yet and I know that I really should test myself. My javascript makes heavy use of jquery. By turning obfuscation off, should the following javascript minify properly:

$(this).doSomething();

$('html, body, tr[data-href]').doSomething();

$("#myId").hide(); // select by ID

$(".myClass").hide(); // select by CLASS

$("div.myClass").hide(); // select DIVs with CLASS

Correct. Just don't use -f option.
