Buttons lose their outline in UserControl in Darkmode

These are two buttons inside a usercontrol.

The usercontrol seems to get the same background color as the buttons, making it hard to see that those are in fact both buttons.
I am hovering my mouse over the highlighted button in the image, screen capture excluded mouse cursor.

I found the solution to be commenting the following:

            if (control is Button)
            {
                var button = control as Button;
                button.FlatStyle = IsDarkMode ? FlatStyle.Flat : FlatStyle.Standard;
                button.FlatAppearance.CheckedBackColor = OScolors.Accent;
                button.BackColor = OScolors.Control;
                //button.FlatAppearance.BorderColor = (OwnerForm.AcceptButton == button) ?
                //  OScolors.Accent : OScolors.Control;
            }

Then just set the border color to whatever you want from the FlatAppearance.

Not an exact fix but works as a workaround
