Together with Dr. Inanc Birol at the BC Cancer Research Institute in Vancouver Canada, we conduct antimicrobial, bioinformatics and genomics research. We also develop novel algorithms, data structures and genome analysis software and offer solutions (below) for (1) antimicrobial peptide (AMP) predictions, (2) de novo whole-genome (DNA) sequence assembly (3) transcriptome (RNA) assembly and analysis and (4) proteomic analysis. Our bioinformatics technologies, available on GitHub, find applications in life sciences and are integral to our research program.
