[BUG] Playback lags immensely after switching to a different tab

The bug

As the title suggest, the playback pauses and stutters when I switch to another tab.
Tested on Firefox and Brave (Chromium).

The fact that Firefox tab keeps making some noises after leaving the tab, tells me that this is not the intended behavior.

Reproduction steps

1. Load any MIDI file
2. Switch to a different tab
3. Hear the broken playback

Sorry for the late reply:

This is somewhat intended behaviour. I don't use a audio/web worker for the playback so the playback will be paused in inactive tabs. When you hover with the mouse over an inactive tab, chrome will actually make that tab active for a second or so to show you that little preview thing. That's why it "stutters" at that point.

Will tag this as enhancement though, since some people have previously requested the possibility to leave a song running in the background.
