bzflags directory not present

The command to remove the status icon is not working for me. The shell script will fail because the bzflags directory is not present. I did add the directory and then added that file. However, the status icon is still present. Im not sure if I need to restart a process as well?

Running macOS 12.0.1
Backblaze 8.01568

I ran killall bzbmenu to remove the menu item. Will that affect the backup process?
