How to generate the loom file hgForebrainGlut.loom?

Hey,
I was following this notebook but it doesn't explain how one can generate this loom file hgForebrainGlut.loom. This file has reduced number of barcodes and genes too.

I have to use this analysis pipeline for other datasets also. So, I want to know what filtering steps have been used to reduce the dimension of the matrix and then how to generate the loom file.
Any help will be highly appreciated.
