Because you have a default image, make sure that other images used during testing aren't stored in the media folder when pushing to github. Since generally speaking, directories like uploads and media are generally included in the .gitignore file, you can create another directory for static files in a similar way to how the media route was defined. There you can store default assets and assets used by react if you so wish.
