Abstract

I am requesting travel support to attend Centre Point Meetup #2 (Singapore, Sept 27–29, 2025) to represent builders from Africa that are actively contributing to Neo and SpoonCore AI. I plan to bring back insights to scale Neo adoption across West Africa.

Proposal Information

Description

Firstly, there is a goldmine of devs who can leverage Neo offerings such as SpoonOS hence why during the event, I plan to:

  • Share a case study presentation: “How Nigerian Developers Can/ are already adopting SpoonCore AI for Real-World Products”
  • Participate in community and technical sessions to further understand how Neo is building globally and replicate those best practices locally here in Nigeria.
  • Build connections with leaders in the Eco that will accelerate planning an hackathon in Nigeria, onboarding devs , and cross-regional collaborations.

Post-event deliverables: I plan to publish slides, a community report, and a structured plan for SpoonCore + Neo hackathon in Nigeria.

Motivation

since becoming active contributor to the Neo ecosystem.

  • Technical contributions:
  • Community leadership:
    • I maintain an active developer community in Nigeria some of which I onboarded to contribute to SpoonCore and other open-source projects. This is just a fragment of what is possible.
    • Currently collaborating with Denis and Abdulkareem to host a Neo + SpoonCore hackathon locally.
    • Proven track record of onboarding devs to build onchain and other initiatives that successfully onboarded 60+ developers into Web3 ecosystems.

The real value of my presence at Centre Point is to learn how the Neo community operates globally and bring that knowledge home to scale Neo adoption in Nigeria and West Africa.

Goals

  • Deliver a case study talk that shows how SpoonCore AI can be integrated into developer products locally.
  • Strengthen connections with Neo leaders to see how a local Neo hacathon can be organised

Short Bio

Technical contributor & community builder at the forefront of Neo + SpoonCore AI adoption in Africa. My work spans 1,000+ lines of code on SpoonCore AI, raising/closing issues, and supporting the graph agent. Beyond code, I lead developer communities, organize events, and mentor builders. I am currently in talks specifically with Dennis together with Abdulkareem and Neo leaders to host a hackathon that will onboard Nigerian developers into Neo N3 and SpoonCore AI.

My mission is to bridge global Neo innovation with local execution.
