E.g. follow their "minimum supported dependencies" spec: https://scientific-python.org/specs/spec-0000/
Just as a guidance perhaps, but maybe also as a shield: "no we don't support numpy 1 and Python 3.11 anymore, because we agreed with the rest of the scientific community to move on".
