  • Fixed a problem with the refreshing of themes and wallpapers in the Settings app
  • Removed TestApp: the oldest v7 app
  • Fixed a bug that made the app store think verified apps were still unverified because of caching
  • Added a progress indicator to trash emptying
  • Removed the waiting, working and error indicators from FsProgress
  • Created DriveInfo: A better dialog for viewing information about a drive. This dialog also displays categorized drive usage for U:/
  • Added FsProgressFail: A proper dialog for displaying file transfer errors in a more permanent manner.
  • FileAssocSvc: file associations are now saved to the ArcOS filesystem in U:/System/FileAssociations.json
  • There have been many reports of ArcOS files not having the correct file type displayed in the file manager. This has now been resolved. If a file still isn't recognized by fileAssocSvc, it'll show up as Unknown.
  • The 'Report a bug' link in Advanced System Settings now works
  • Added UpdateNotifierApp: a windows that neatly notifies you about a new version of ArcOS, it also allows you to view the change log from within the OS without having to open Discord or the Documentation Site.
  • The spin-ups of several filesystem drives have been optimized to improve performance
  • Added a better home page "popular" section to the app store
  • Updated the store page carousel to improve readability and appearance
  • Fixed a crash related to the ArcOS protocol handler (bug 68a344836c65fe520ebfba59)
  • Fullscreen, minimized windows are now accounted for and will no longer keep the taskbar hidden
  • Added a STAT drive capability to more quickly get summarized information about a file or folder
  • Fixed some more CSS bugs as a result of 7.0.3 (yes, these keep coming)
  • Added a "pin to taskbar" notification to new and updated apps
  • Fixed a problem with the Compose button in Messages
  • ArcFind now has a dedicated loading state to indicate the initial indexing phase on login. It will also no longer send repeated requests to the server as a result of keystrokes.
  • The Load/save dialog now automatically has the extension appended to the filename for saving
  • The login routine has been optimized to log you in even faster
  • U:/Applications is now a hidden UserPath, it will no longer show up on the My ArcOS page.
  • ArcOS windows now better account for a no-shell scenario.
  • The ArcOS crashes related to the context menus have been mitigated (hopefully for real this time)
  • The kernel reference has been removed from all processes, kernel modules, services and components to enhance the crippling TPA security.
  • Cod and Writer have received several bug fixes
  • The file manager now has a correct window title for virtual folders (My ArcOS, Recycle Bin)
  • Added a dedicated loading state to the desktop to better indicate refreshing
  • Added a block that prevents you from starting two file manager navigations at once
  • Stack traces and application errors are now better displayed using OopsNotifier and OopsStackTracer.
  • Fix a bug where installed apps had no uninstall button in the app store
  • Added the new TOTP field to TotpSetupGui also
  • Fix several app opening bugs in safe mode
