Always appears offline

In ESPHome Builder, my Apollo devices always appear to be offline while all of my other ESP devices are online. When I click Update All, however, even the Apollo devices are updated (or at least they indicate that they no longer need to be updated, while still being offline).

Thanks for reaching out - this is likely an mDNS issue due to segmented network with multiple subnets/vlans and is ultimately on the ESPHome side. Here is their documentation going over this https://www.esphome.io/guides/faq/#notes-on-disabling-mdns and the simplest workaround is to change to using ping for online/offline status https://www.esphome.io/guides/faq/#docker-reference-notes there's a configuration button in the esphome device builder addon to change this!
