make the scroll wheel work with the playback button

allow us to modify the volume step value, the default of 10 is too high; would be great if it affected both the volume changes from keybinds and from the scroll wheel

^^^ it would also be nice to be able to change the step rate for playback rate as well

increase the font size on volume and playback rate indicators as currently it's difficult to see the proper number
