Description
Describe the bug
While in the "Search..." overlay, the "New Tab" icon on search results doesn't work; nothing happens when clicked.
If the user only desires opening a single search result, then left-clicking the result itself will close the Search overlay and open that result into the current tab.
However, in situations where more than one search result needs opening, the "New Tab" icon on each search result would be highly useful for opening results into their own tab 1) without losing the master Search overlay/context, 2) without switching away to the new result tabs.
Without this, the workaround necessitates having to:
- Manually open blank new tabs for however many search results needing opening
- Switch to each blank tab
- Open a Search
- Repeat the search
- Left-click a next search result to open it into current tab
- Switching to the next blank tab and repeating this for however many results needing opening
To Reproduce
- Open a Search overlay
- Mouse hover any result and click its "New Tab" icon
- Nothing happens, internally nor externally
Expected behavior
Clicking the "New Tab" icon on a search result opens that result into its own new GD tab without switching to it, allowing one to open multiple search results from a single tab's Search hoverlay.
