Integrate scatterplot rendering capabilities into Vis #156
Description
Today, the brain-map.org ABC Atlas contains a scatterplot rendering tool that allows rendering very large numbers of points, with various display properties, hover sensitivity, and zooming support. This would be a useful capability to have in Vis!
Currently, this feature is built into ABC Atlas, but a Vis-based implementation could in turn be used by future versions of ABC Atlas, not to mention any other tools that have need for such scatterplot rendering features.
