Some browsers are not appear in list

All browsers are in /Applications/Web Browsers. I did add the path but it does not help.
I just remembered that maybe the .plist file should be deleted from the previous installation, so i removed that, reset all preferences, add the path back, scan again, and now only Safari is detected. So i uninstalled again and tried the official release (1.1.13) but the previous error has occured where all browsers are found in the scan except for Chrome & Brave.

@xa4hf8 Let’s move the conversation to this issue, since it’s not really related to Chrome Profiles. I tried to reproduce the bug, but on my machine both browsers are detected in the latest version. So I need more information, maybe the paths to the app binaries and a dump of your Browserino settings, so I can try to reproduce your environment.

@xa4hf8 I tried to reproduce the issue, but on my machine it worked without any problems. While I don’t have a direct solution to your problem, I have added an import/export feature. As a temporary workaround, you can try exporting the settings, manually adding the two missing browsers to the list, and then re-importing the settings.

For whatever reason, Google Chrome is detected correctly in 1.1.14 but Brave Browser is not. Maybe I simply overlooked Chrome before, because the list is not sorted in alphabetical order. But I am certain that Brave was not detected automatically.

The entry for Google Chrome in xyz.alexstrnik.Browserino.plist looks like this:

"file:\/\/\/Applications\/Web%20Browsers\/Google%20Chrome.app\/",

So I used Prefs Editor to add Brave after Google Chrome, and it works:

"file:\/\/\/Applications\/Web%20Browsers\/Brave%20Browser.app\/",

For diagnostic purposes, I then quit Browserino and deleted ~/Library/Preferences/xyz.alexstrnik.Browserino.plist. The next time that Browserino is launched, the list of browsers is still populated with data. So it appears that the list is being cached somewhere else.

If I press the "rescan" button, a new plist file is created in ~/Library/Preferences/ but the Brave Browser is not detected. It is interesting that the list of browsers is updated when I edit the plist file, but the list is NOT updated when I delete the plist file.

This seems to indicate that the fault is not in Browserino. I think the solution is to re-register Brave with Launch Services:

Though it is detected now when I press the ReScan button, I see that a new plist file is not created at launch (or when the button is pressed) if the file does not exist.
