channel_not_found’ error

“Great job! I’ve successfully obtained the channel_id, but the error indicates that sending messages to channel:c0ak91xb3dg and channel:c0ak91zf0hy using the openclaw message send command returns a ‘channel_not_found’ error’. Could you please tell me what might be causing this?”

channel_not_found usually comes down to one of three things:

1. Bot isn't in the channel (most common)
Slack returns channel_not_found even if the channel exists — the bot just needs to be a member.
→ Run /invite @your-bot-name in each target channel.

2. Missing --channel flag
If you have multiple providers configured (Slack + Feishu/Discord etc.), specify explicitly:

openclaw message send --channel slack --target channel:C0AK91XB3DG --message "test"

3. Wrong or lowercase Channel ID
IDs must be uppercase (C0AK91XB3DG, not c0ak91xb3dg). Inbound routing is case-insensitive, but outbound passes the ID directly to Slack's API.
→ Right-click channel name in Slack → Copy link → the C0XXXXXXXX at the end is your ID.
