[BUG] Most synced PDFs are blank since v1.19.1

What happened?

I just noticed that most documents synced via "Sync documents PDFs" are either completely blank or have some blank pages, but some are completely correct. I can't find common reasons for why it happens with some and doesn't with others right now, any new documents I just made didn't have this happen to them.

The files seem to keep their size but you can't see the images and there's no OCR data on blank pages. Ticking on or off the OCR export in the sync settings doesn't change anything. I'd need to test more to understand this, does it happen to anyone else?

@Yquas thanks for reporting this. any chance you can export a backup with one of those failing and share it with me?

@farfromrefug What do you mean by exporting a backup? Won't it have all my documents inside?
And the problem is that it doesn't seem to happen for new documents right now, but I can upload the one I used in another issue here because it also failed.

@farfromrefug Here's a new observation: I made a new document, added some pages, edited some, removed some and the synced PDF was updating correctly. Then, right after I dragged a newly added page from the back to the very front, all pages after that became white in the synced file but still had the OCR in them. And even weirder, two pages I had removed right before this suddenly reappeared at the end of the file as blank pages with no embedded OCR.

The last important thing is that when I renamed the file after all this, the synced PDF was correct, renaming it back produced the same broken file again.

So this corruption is happening after certain editing operations and only per file name?
Manually exporting a PDF creates a document with zero problems so it's probably something about the sync functionality.

@Yquas i tried but i cant reproduce it . When you say renaming the file, you are talking about the document in the app or the actual filename?

@farfromrefug I meant the document title in the app. I didn't touch the filesystem, only checked it.

@Yquas So based on the document name it is blank or not? If so can you share a "name" where it is blank ?

@farfromrefug I didn't quite mean it that way, it's not about specific titles, at least I don't think so. It's just that in a majority of the documents I created (no matter if a day, months or a year ago), some or all pages have become corrupted in the synced PDF (= blank with OCR / blank with missing OCR) after I've done a complete resync in the new app version. I didn't change anything about those documents.

What may be important to add is that I always edited the titles of documents I've scanned in the past by adding a few words of what they're about after the date. I always use spaces in there, but that was never a problem and the app replaces them with "_" in the exported files title.

And as I said, if I now change the title of some document by adding or removing a character or more, the synced file with a unique new title is "healthy" again.

@Yquas this is really weird. Not sure how to reproduce it.
BTW you can change the default name format for newly created documents in the settings. If it can work for you
